Grant a Gift Autism Foundation Honors National Autism Awareness Month with Events and Initiatives

LAS VEGAS – (March 30, 2015) – In honor of National Autism Month in April, Grant a Gift Foundation (GGAF) will host various initiatives and raise proceeds to fuel the fight against autism, which affects approximately 1 in 68 children. Funds collected through key activities will further enable diagnostic research, support services and signature community outreach programs offered through the local non-profit organization

Las Vegas has a powerful spirit of charitable giving, and we look forward to demonstrating that goodwill through another great month of fighting the good fight!” said Lynda Tache, Founder and CEO of GGAF.

April activities are as follows:

Saturday, April 11: Gaudin Ford presents Fuel the Fight Car Show and Family Fair. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., guests will enjoy a car exhibition (all makes and models are welcome) as well as complimentary food and drinks, raffle prize giveaways and kid-friendly attractions including a bounce house, face-painting, and balloon artists.  Entry fee starts at $3 (free for children 3 and younger). The event will take place at Gaudin Ford located at 6625 Roy Horn Way (Rainbow and 215).

Saturday, April 25:  GGAF invites everyone to put on their walking and running shoes and participate in the 6th Annual 5K Autism Race for Hope and Fun Walk. The event, hosted by 102.7 FM radio personalities Kris Daniels and Rick Kelly, begins at 7 a.m. and is located at Town Square Las Vegas (Sunset Rd. and Las Vegas Blvd). Mustang Sally’s employee, Jonas Martin will serve as event ambassador. Lynda Tache will be available for interviews upon request. Interested participants can register at GrantaGiftFoundation.org.

April 1- 30: Gaudin presents a Puzzle Donation Card Campaign, available all month long. With donations starting at $1, guests are invited to purchase a Grant a Gift puzzle hangtag, which will be displayed at designated participating locations throughout April. Locations include: Gaudin Ford, Ford Country, Gaudin Jaguar Porsche, select Subway locations, LOOK Style Society inside Town Square Las Vegas, Stack and Yolks and more.
